I really haven't been able to find a suitable GPS-enabled camera, so I'm going to try a different approach. The GISTeq PhotoTrackr is a separate GPS that comes with geocoding software. To use it, you synchronize the GISTeq clock with the clock in the camera. Then you carry the GISTeq device with you while taking pictures. When you get back to your desk, you synchronize the pictures with the GISTeq. The GISTeq knows where you were at any time. The camera knows when you took each picture. This information is merged into the EXIF information for each picture you took.
PhotoTrackr comes with software based on Google Maps for displaying your pictures on the locations where you took them. You can also upload the pictures to Flickr and make a map of your photos there. In about 10 days, I'm going to Bend, Oregon for hiking and biking. That's when I'll try out PhotoTrackr for the first time.
